First Haircut!

Brody got his first professional haircut yesterday. I have cut it at least 5-6 times but It was getting very shaggy so we decided it was time for a professional. He did great. Played with his toys and the ladies entertained him. He looks so much older now!

Brody's Birthday Weekend!

Brody's first birthday party was on Saturday and a huge success! We had so much fun celebrating and thank you to all our family and friends who joined us. Brody really enjoyed all the extra attention he received from grandparents, cousins, friends etc. He especially enjoyed hangin' with the big boys, his cousins Spenscer and Brok. He also got to spend time with his cousin Brecken -- they went to the park and rode in the wagon together. Today it was just Brody and I and I think he was bored! :-) We took almost 200 pictures throughout the weekend so it was hard to choose what photos to post. Enjoy!

Brody's first year!

Happy Birthday Brody - he turns 1 tomorrow. WOW - can't believe how quickly a year has gone by. I created a little slide show of all the highlights of Brody's first year -- was so much fun (and a couple of tears were shed :) to go back through all the great memories. We will be celebrating on Saturday with Brody's first birthday bash!

Brody is such a happy baby but he has decided that he doesn't like to have his picture taken (maybe I have taken too many pictures of him!) When I get the camera out he is instantly not happy and makes a sad face to let us know how he is feeling! Hopefully it is just a phase and will pass VERY quickly as his one year pictures are later this week.

11 months

Brody was 11 months earlier this week. Can't believe he is almost a year! He is really moving around (not walking yet though) and loves to explore and get his little hands on anything he can find. He still only has two bottom teeth. For weeks we have been thinking that another tooth is going to pop through but it hasn't happened yet!

Pup Pup

For those of you who know our dog, Raleigh, you know she really isn't allowed on the furniture and she really doesn't have an interest in sitting on the furniture with us (except cuddling in bed). She has been kind of nervous ever since Brody started to crawl and the other night something scared her and out of nowhere she jumped on my lap. It was so out of character for her that we had to take a picture. Frank likes to call this picture "Mother Hen" ... Mother will take care of

everything! :-) Pup Pup is what Brody calls Raleigh.

Happy Easter!

We went to Iowa for Easter. We had a great time visiting everyone! Mom and Dad even got to go out on date on Saturday -- Thanks NaNa and PaPa!
Also, since my last post Brody has added a couple of new words to his vocabulary -- Bye, Bye! and Pup Pup (this is what he calls Raleigh :-)
