Even though Nora didn't get to go to Disney she still got lots of presents and looks adorable in her Mickey Mouse ears! :)

Disney World

Out of the blue Frank mentioned that he was going to Orlando for work and suggested I bring the family down for a short trip to Disney. After thinking this through we decided it was better to leave Nora at home with grandma and just bring Brody for his first trip to Disney. Although, I felt a little guilty about leaving Nora behind it worked out for the best. We had a great time spending some one on one time with just Brody and Nora had so much fun with grandma!!

Here are a couple of highlights from the trip ... can't wait to go back once the kids are a little older!

New specs for Brody!

Brody got new glasses this weekend. We have been trying to correct a mild crossed eye but patching isn't working so we moved onto glasses. He is doing really well with them and looks pretty darn cute in his new specs!

Happy 1st Birthday, Nora!

We had a great time celebrating Nora's 1st birthday on Saturday with family and good friends. Nora really enjoyed all the special attention she received and enjoyed her first cupcake! Happy 1st birthday baby!!

Happy Birthday to my sweet Nora! Can't believe her first year has passed! Here are some highlights of the fun year we have had watching Nora blossom into such a happy little lady! We will be celebarting her brithday on Saturday!

Although the Badgers did not pull out a Win we still had fun watching them make it to the Rose Bowl and watching them play! Daddy and his little Badgers! We will give daddy this one since the Hawkeyes couldn't make their way to the Rose Bowl! :)

We had such a nice Christmas at home this year. Took the kids to the Macy's display downtown on Christmas Eve and then to church. Then spent Christmas day at home and Nana and Papa came into town to celebrate with us. Brody was really excited this year as he starting to understand Santa, presents etc and Jesus' birthday. What a fun Christmas we had!
