Happy St. Patty's Day

Thought we would combine Brody's first St. Patty's Day and his 10 month update (he will be 10 months this weekend).

Likes: To crawl and get into mischief, dancing and clapping to music, eating black olives and cheese, reading books, splashing in the bathtub and pulling hair (we keep telling Brody that he is not going to be popular with the ladies if he keeps pulling their hair! :-)

Dislikes: Being told "no", sun in his eyes, getting his diaper changed and any kind of baby food (Brody has decided that he doesn't want to eat anything that is given to him on a spoon)

Brody is so social and always smiling! We are really enjoying this stage, so fun to watch him develop into his own little person.

Happy St. Patty's Day ... Brody will be eating Shepherd's Pie for the first time tonight. No green beer yet! :-)

Here Comes Trouble...

Brody has been trying to crawl for weeks but tonight he finally did it ... with a little food motivation he was off! Watch out Raleigh I can now chase you...

Brody has learned the meaning of "NO" and doesn't like it ... as you can see in the video!

We were in Hawaii's Big Island last week and had such a wonderful time. Brody got to play in the sand and dip his toes in the ocean for the first time! He was such a good traveler and a real trooper the entire week. Nana Dixie came with us to help out. This was a work trip for Frank so we had to be involved with events in the evening so nana was there to take care of Brody. We are so thankful she was able to join us. It was a such a memorable trip but we were glad to get home yesterday and hopefully get back into a routine. However we weren't excited to see several inches of snow on the ground ... UGH! I thought winter would be over when we returned! :-)
