Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Stayed at home on Christmas Eve/Christmas and just spent time together as a family. On Saturday we traveled to WI to spend Christmas with the Jimenez's. We were thankful that we had good travel weather and given that I am 9 months pregnant we were a little concerned with how the 5 hr trip would go but it was actually quite pleasant! Brody was so much fun this year. He loved opening gifts and had so much fun seeing NaNa and PaPa Jimenez and spending time with all his cousins. We will celebrate the Jameson Christmas in January once the baby is here. Looking forward to an exciting 2010!

We are having so much fun with this age. Brody is talking and learning to listen and communicate. Although this age does bring some challenges -- tantrums are starting! We are still having fun! Anticipating a very fun Christmas! Here are some highlights from the last month...

33 weeks

Baby Girl

Today we had an ultrasound and it was amazing to see our baby girl had turned into a little person since our last ultrasound 12 weeks ago. We confirmed that she is definitely a girl, she has her brother's nose, lots of hair, loves to stick out her tongue and is very healthy at 4.7 lbs! And, she is no longer in breech position -- now let's keep it that way for another 7 weeks! I won't be complaining about kicks in the ribs as they have never felt so good! :-)

Christmas lights

We started putting our Christmas lights outside yesterday ... once it got dark we turned them on for Brody to see. He loved them!!

28 weeks

Not sure how I feel about posting my growing belly on our blog but keep getting asked for pictures so this is easiest way to share! Can't believe I am already 28 weeks - this pregnancy is going by so quickly!

All the changes that one year can bring -- Halloween 2008 and 2009!


Brody had a very fun Halloween. Daddy took him trick or treating and he lasted for over an hour. He also really enjoyed greeting the kids at the door. We had over 130 kids this year!!
